I want to know who in the devil at Microsoft feels they are doing us any favors by automatic updates that insist on shutting down an active computer session to install themselves. The last time this happened, the software shut me down with no visible message until it wanted to shut me down. While it did ask me if I wanted to save my work, it didn’t give me the opportunity to do so and I lost 6 hours of work. To make matters worse, the updates hosed my system, Windows 7 would not boot and I had to go to a restore point to get my system running.
My time bills at 150.00 an hour, so this little adventure cost me me over 1000 dollars. I realize that is not much money to Microsoft, but it’s a lot of money to me. Who holds Microsoft accountable for this kind of crap?

I cant tell you how much i hate microsoft windows 7.
Many seem to say it’s great. Compared to VISTA thats true. But compared to xp nothing can be further from the truth.
Case. I was writing a word doc. 5 minutes in the computer AUTOMATICALLY shut down to install an update!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TWICE this has happened. Its buggy. Buggy Buggy. I have had it installed and reinstalled on two new laptops and it continues to be trashy OS.
I was rushing to post a news article. I lost it all! Even autosave failed to do its job. now its all gone! Thanks crappy microsoft! Im peeved. Angry at your trashy w7.
Bring back XP! I dont want to pay for new OS trash.
