I went to the Walmart on Pendleton Pike In Indianapolis (Lawrence City) Indiana last night. I only had a few items so I went through the Express Line where your suppose to get finished quicker, right? WRONG!!! I bought a 20lb container of Tidy Cat Litter -Dual Duty. It is a brand new product and my daughter bought it last week for her 2 cats and told me it was by far the best litter out there. She told me that there would be a “peel off coupon” on the front of the container for $1:50 savings. I went and picked it up and sure enough there was a $1:50 coupon on it so I peeled it off and headed to the checkout. However, upon presenting my coupon that I got in the store 10 minutes before, I was told that “they wouldn’t honor it at the check out. I was furious, and so were the people behind me. Even the cashier complained to management and told them that it “was just plain WRONG to punish the customer. The Cashier supervisor had a terrible attitude and told us that if we wanted to use our coupon’s we would HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO THE SERVICE COUNTER FOR A REFUND!! Several people including my wife told her that they would start shopping at Meijer’s because the EXPRESS line is suppose to get you through the store faster. Well, with them telling every customer with coupons that we would have to go to the service desk for our money back, I probably don’t need to tell you how packed the “service desk was ” with EVERYONE trying to get their money back. This is the stupidest mess I think I have EVER encountered at a store!! Does Walmart WANT TO LOSE A LOT OF BUSINESS BY MAKING THE CUSTOMER FEEL LIKE THEY ARE BEING TREATED AS IF WE HAVE RIPPED THEM OFF? NOT TO MENTION IT ENDS UP BEING A HUGE WASTE OF TIME- CERTAINLY NOT AN EXPRESS AT ALL!! PLEASE EXPLAIN! THANK YOU
