I buy from because of the forgiving return policy, however on November 25, 2011, I purchased a microwave from sears.com. After receiving around the 5 of dec. it was decided that it was’nt quite what we expected. Dec 30th I was told by a telephone rep jst return it to sears no problem. That did work cause that brand microwave was not in their system. On Jan 4 2012, i was told by another rep they would issue me a shipping label so i could return it at no cost to me. (never happened). On Jan 9 2012 again i was told they would make a decision weather they could issue me a label and I would hear back within 48hrs, (nothing).
Today I called their online resolution dept, and basically because their is nothing wrong with the microwave aside from subtle differences from the picture online, (NOTHING)! Every year i spend a couple thousand $$ with sears especially during the holidays, but this may stop. I a customer is not happy with an item that has no problems, it shouldnt be a problem to return, especially to a store where they can resale it cause its perfectly good.

If the microwave oven brand bought from Sears.com was not in the Sears store system, it may have come from Sears.com Marketplace – 3rd party vendor. Kind of like when you buy from Amazon.com and the item ships from Crazy Eddie’s, you return it to Crazy Eddie’s and not to Amazon!
