Yea, they have a GM there named K. A very over weight guy, can’t miss him. He is never available when a customer or associate needs him. He spends most of his time in his office just eating food and feeding his face. Multiple times employees call for him but he never shows. Customers get ticked because the employees will tell K moments ahead that they are running low on ones or fives in cash and he never brings them/totally ignores the employees request. The only time he will ever get the cash pickup is when the customer is waiting for a one or five in cash and the drawer is out.
That’s when he actually gets up to do his job. He constantly goes out to smoke and leaves randomly and leaves early. I have heard 3 stories where he got in an employees face and all 3 of the employees felt threatened by him, they said they actually thought at that moment he was going to physically hurt them, so that’s a serious thing you lazy fucks at HR and customer service needs to look into. Like I said before, the man doesn’t do his job. The store 1527 is absolutely on the lowest end compared to the rest of the stores and I personally blame it on K, store 1527′s GM.
Staples employees and managers are supposed to work as a team, and he doesn’t do anything to add to the team or the store. As I said before, and you can individually talk to any of the store’s employees. He just sits in his office all day and eats. He leaves about 3-4 times each day to go get food. Watch the cameras to see how much he leaves. As a company WHO PRIDES themselves on being easy, having K work for your company is a huge set back. He does nothing to benefit the store other than cause stress and fear for the other employees that work there.
He is easily replaceable and I think you should look into my case and the other cases about him and get another GM is store 1527, one that isn’t lazy, who actually does their job, and one who is an actually benefit to the company and progresses the company further. As much as I hate Staples and will always tell people to never shop as such a low pay, greedy, uncaring, and disrespectful company, I would feel ashamed having K being my personal GM for the company. Just something I feel Staples Corporate should know if this ever reaches them.
