I have purshased a Sony Vaio Laptop 10 months ago and I’m having troubles with the customer service here in Lebanon!! My Vaio S/N: 27527988-7000801. Every time I send it with a problem, it comes back after a week (sometimes more) with another problem.. I need to send it three or more times to get repaired, I receive it late, and with unsatisfactory results.. It’s the worst customer service I have ever seen.. If this customer sevice is really “linked” to Sony, I think its standards should be better (by far)..
its about a month that i have bought a sony laptop..and from the first day it ws not working properly..its touchpad was not working and it was just 10 days and then i went to ur service centre at lajpat nagar delhi those people told me that whenever u will have the problem u can come n show us becoz that time it was working and the other day its sound was giving me the problem whenever i starts it, it beaps like hell so now cant take this piece becoz frm the first day i m suffering his problem. so now i want to replace it so do the best as u can do.
I bought a new Vayo computer for less than $800. 2 weeks after, the screen went blank. I am overseas and called numerous times Sony service for getting a service center in Denmark. After numerous calls and incorrect addresses of service centers in Belgium, in Sweden and so on, I realized that it is impossible to get any information from Sony. Total incompetence of their service and warranty personnel. With the aid of a friend, I found the Sony service in Copenhagen. The service refused to honor Sony’s “international warranty” and charged the equivalent of $640 for replacing the screen of a new computer. Never again I will buy a Sony computer. The company stinks!
