Dear Samsung, I have never been so upset or disappointed with Samsung, and its customer service in my life. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get my issues with my Samsung products resolved, finally, two weeks after I sent my phone in, I have it back (my TV has also been gone two weeks now and still isn’t back). I received my phone back from ‘Service Absolut’ , and apparently there are no problems with it. The completion report says “passed diagnostic test & meets all manufacturer/s specification, email of inbox can be deleted”.
This is untrue, I am not satisfied at all with the camera quality. Besides the problem itself (the camera), what really infuriates me, is the condition this phone was sent back in!! I bought this phone unlocked (see attached receipt), and it was sent backed as a locked phone. What kind if idiot technicians do Samsung have??? I can flash the firmware myself. So, now the screen displays Samsung Galaxy S2 – I9100M. The M signifies Bell’s custom firmware:
Now I haven’t had the phone for two weeks, get it back, and can’t use it at all because it’s locked. Thank you very much Samsung. When speaking to the customer service rep. Samsung does nothing to please the customer. Now I have spent countless hours on the phone regarding this ticket, and will be without my business phone for another two weeks probably.
Now for the initial problem itself. The Camera. It appears that all the ‘technician’ did do, is install and run a diagnostics application. Since he did not restore the phone’s system, you could see on the phone that the technician didn’t even bother taking any pictures to test the quality of the camera.
I have a friend with the exact same phone, same model # (except it’s black not white). It takes superior pictures compared to the white phone. I’m attaching unaltered pictures (with factory camera settings) that will compare similar photos from my white Samsung Galaxy S2, to the black Galaxy S2, and you will indeed see that the camera quality is inferior.
Please forward this email to the technician that will be taking care of the new ticket #4113846727. Once again, due to the fact Samsung’s 3rd party technician totally messed up the phone, scratched it, and took so long, Samsung should send a NEW replacement as soon as possible. At the very least, please send back the phone: UNLOCKED with a non-branded firmware (as I originally purchased it). With a fixed camera
