I misplaced my woolworths store card and went to the Woolworths Kerk street branch as it is down the road form my workplace. I went to the customer service counter who put me on the line with a consultant who “updated” my details email statements etc. and to cancel the lost card and reorder a new card. I also requested that my new card be dropped off at the store due to the amount of mail being stolen and the last thing I need is for someone to fraudelently use my card.
This happened on the 01/12/11. Last week 30/12/11 I go back to the store to find out if my card had arrived only to find out that the card that I had requested to be cancelled was in fact still active, and the details that I updated was not updated and to top it all off the only option to receive my card was via post. I subsequently told the consultant to cancell my card and I will do without a card if that is the only option available to be. All of a sudden the card could be delivered to the shop.
I was issued with a temporary card and off I go. Today i go to the woolworths store, get all the stuff that I need ,stand in line only to find out that I now needed my ID book with the temprary card which was NEVER explained to me. I ended up leaving al my stuff there because it was just so frustrating. Firstlt my card does not get cancelled and reordered then I get inconvenienced because I received half baked information. Woolworths Seriously ???
