Recently I took my eye perscription into our local walmart, picked out some frames and ordered them. When they arrived I went in and tried them on and immediately I voiced my opinion to the lady that I was dealing with that they just didn’t feel right. She said I needed to give my Brain about two weeks to adjust to my new perscription.

I agreed I would do that but over an approx 3 week period I tried and I Had nothing but complaints to family and friends so finally went back and said I just can’t wear these glasses any longer. That same lady said oh well let me replace your nose pads that should help than another lady that was there and seemed to maybe be a boss or perhaps had more experience took my glasses looked at them and said i think i know what is wrong with them buti will need to send than away. I agreed but than had to goback to the old perscription until the new glasses came in.

I received them back 2 days ago and when i asked what was wrong I was told the lenses were defective. I wore those glasses for 3 weeks with defective lenses even though i expressed my displeasure with them.

I am not blaming the girls at the optical centre at walmart as these would have come from an optical centre that made the lenses and they were the ones who made the mistake but I am very upset to think i wore them for so long and had such problems with headaches, couldn’t see properly at all . Would have to put the glassses away down on my nose in order to see anything in a distance. I would like an explanationof exactly what happened here .

I purchased my last pair of glasses from walmart approx 5 years ago and they were great.

i realize everyone is capable of making mistakes but whenit come to your eyes we only have two and if walmart is going to do business wisth an optical company i would think it would be in their best interest to be sure they have a good reputation.

I must say since my experience I have heard of others having problems with purchasing glasses from walmart but maybe they just kept it to themselves and never complained but i feel it only right to voice my opinion directly with you as to give you the opportunity to deal with the situation I have no doubt your would appreciate this.

I am wearing the glasses now on a trial basis and am still not sure they are ok but i will give it some time before I return to our local vision centre. I need you to know that the people I dealt with there were very helpful and I lay no blame there. I would appreciate hearing from you . Ipaid 378.00 for my perscripton and would expect to be satisfied at the end of the day.

I’ve used the Walmart in Tuscaloosa, AL for several years now and I can say that it has gotten progresively worse. The store in Northport is very nice, especially compared to the Skyland Blvd. store. The Tuscaloosa Walmart is just plain treacherous. The ailes are cramped as are the supposedly wider hallways. There are carts filled with junk cluttering up the main walkway that runs in between the cash registers and the merchandise areas and there is nowhere to go. How folks have kept from ramming into one another and caused serious injuries is a miracle. I went to a Walmart in Lawrenceville, GA last week. (I believe it was on Suwanee/Lawrenceville) I was blown away. What a nice store. The aisles were nice and clean and uncluttered. The clerks were very pleasant too. The workers(most) at the Tuscaloosa store have a scowl on their faces and look miserable. I wish I lived closer to the Northport walmart, because I would sure go there more often.

To WalMart Managers, I go to the Walmart on Daniels in Ft.Myers,Fl. Everytime I go there and use the rideing electric carts they don’t last long and one day use 3 of them and I felt like a fool as I was stuck in the middle aisle and people had to walk around me untill someone could bring me a different electric cart. To day the same thing happen.I seen the manangers standing and talking and said please could you help me get another electric cart? yes he said and forgot his name. He said you go down to the end and talk to that lady in the blue shirt,I said I said I don’t think this cart will make it down there. In my opinion he should of got me a cart:::Ok The lady came walking down the asile and I said please can you help me,well just a minute and she took off and and never came back to me.

Ok I was upset so I said enought I will check out,I did with the few iteams I had,but mind you I was not through shopping.I would think that the manager would of gone and got me a different rideing cart, well I have news for you: “Publix” would of done this for me. I am really thinking of going to Target to do my shopping from now on and stay with PUBLIX.I am very upset with the way I was treated there at that WalMart store. I really believe you should get NEW ELECTIC RIDEING CARTS.When this happens I will or might not come into the store: I will need a knee surgery soon and I need the electric rideing cart to shop with. Please take care of this for me and a lot of other folks as I have talked to many about the same as I am complaing about with WalMart Store.
