My experience of buying a Vento Trendline petrol model car has been a nightmare. After paying entire car value upfront and booking the car from OSL Exclusive Pvt Ltd at Kolkata, the dealer announced that they would not be able to deliver the car within the promised date. After lot of persuasion the car was delivered on November 29, 2011 but on the third day after delivery the car refused to start. This happened for a second and a third time within a period of ten days though the car was being used regularly. The VW workshop found an electrical earthing fault draining the battery. Then again within ten days the air-conditioner failed.
The car was sent to the workshop. It is still there and the VW Customer Care is unwilling to issue any undertaking of replacement of car or refund of car value paid in any further problem occur in the car within the validity of the warranty. The Volkswagen reputation is lying in shreds at the hands of their Indian dealers. To which forum should I write for some help.
I bought A VENTO DIESEL HIGHLINE delivered on 24th dec and found it to be defective car with shivering and jerking felt on the left hand side on highway rides above 80 kms speed. we intimated the support team with great confidence but am disappointed to hear irresponsible excuses like wheel balancing / alignment. how can the dealer / company say such reasons for a 2 day old car and then taken back for clearing the same returned uncleared. Now the service center has the car at their yard and i had not enjoyed my new car for more than a week with me even after a month of delivery. Delivered by Elite Motors, Hosur Road Bangalore.I had done my attempts of replacing faulty manufacture and only compromise on a new car but not again the faulty car.
I am proceeding with legal formalities to help the situation and in no way will accept the same car lying at the service center yard for more than 2 weeks.
