I went to vodashop at dobsonville for a I phone4 contract, bt they did not have it so I had to wait for them to order for me, when it arrived I was called to come and collect it, I provided them with the proof of address,3months bank statement and my payslip..bt came the problem when they trie activating it, they did not have a micro sim for the phone! I also paid R105 which they said is for sim connection, bt I did not have the.
I am pissed nw because its two months down the line and police have been coming in my house wanting me to hand in the phone back to the shop, police have been accompanied by vodashop staff member including Mandla the consultant at the shop.

I went to the apple store on broadway (upper west) last saturday (nov 19, 2011 at 7pm) because i had an hour to wait for my movie across the street. I walked up a vacant laptop and pressed the Safari icon when a guy (white haired, short, stout, wearing glasses) rushed to my side and said, “wait I have to make an important appointment.” Taken aback (literally) by this guy who was suddenly bent over “my” laptop, I realized the situation and said, “excuse me but I too have something urgent to do.” “Like what!?!” he SCREAMED with glaring eyes!!! Shocked, I just left. I wasn’t going to argue with a crazy person from the street! Then I realized that this guy was in a blue t-shirt and had an ID. He was a store personnel!!!
How rude can an apple store personnel be???! Maybe he was tired from working til 7pm in a busy, noisy (overpowering his scream unless you were in front of him) apple store. But being unhappy in his job does not give him the right to act so rudely to apple customers!
I am not used to being treated like this. Had I known sooner he was an apple employee I would’ve given him my time of day and made a bigger scene than what he asked for! He probably thought I was student, as Asians look young. I am a 33 year old dentist, I own a few apple products (including 2 laptops, an iphone, ipod, etc) and I am shocked by how apple employees are allowed to behave. I have a photo of this guy on my BB if apple cares to have it.
though i heard, they don’t take complaints… no wonder their people have the guts to act so rude!
