I am a turkish gozleme lover and when I found turkish gozleme sold at woolworths at warringah mall I was over the moon. It was frozen and I could keep as many as I like in my freezer and have one when ever I want. This was the bright side of the story, my dream shuttered after I purchased Tasty Gozleme at woolworths at warringah mall. The pastry was mouldy and I had never thought feta cheese and spinach mix would smell the way it was smelling.
I called the store and complaint about the product, the answer was to contact the manufacturer. What a poor approach. I called the manufacturer, The Authentic Pastry Co., responder was Basfoods in Melbourne, the response was way better than woolworths response, but it was very difficult to convince them that their product was no good for the shelves. In the end I just had to hang up and mind my own business.
This is just a warning for all gozleme lovers, I know there are so many of us out there, stay away from tasty gozleme from the authentic pastry co. or I should say Basfoods if you love your taste buds. I just wanted to share this experience with others to let everyone know about this product.
