ALWAYS BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE! I will from now on. Priceline customer service is deplorable. What a waste of time and money. I purchased at FULL PRICE airline tickets for my 10 year anniversary. I chose the full price format because I wanted to be sure of the selected seats and flight times. The booking process lets you choose the seats for the outgoing flight, then gives you the impression that you are selecting seats together for the return flight. My confirmation page said that I would be booked in the seat next to my husband. I only booked with them instead of the thru the airline, cause I wanted to book a car at the same time. Then I get my confirmation email that states that there was not a car available after all and my husband and I are seating 3 rows apart!!!!
I would not have clicked confirm “signing the contract” if it had stated the truth. So the contract was a lie, I didnt agree to the package they really sold me. I contact “customer service” 3 months in advance to have the error fixed. Their so called “customer service” is run by a bunch of foreigners who barely speak English and are beyond rude!! They refused to acknowledge any of this, even though several flights were available they refused any help. I have copies of the original “contract” that I clicked to purchase. They refuse to transfer you to a supervisor, saying they don’t have one. Their only response is “we will mail you a copy of our contract policies”. My response was “I can mail them a copy of the original contract that I clicked to purchase”. Their response was just silence. William Shatner should be ashamed of himself for representing this fraudulent company!!!!

Regarding: I contacted your customer care/team department 3 times following a reservation made thru your Name Your Own Price for a 4 star hotel. What I received was a reservation for a 3-3.5 star hotel after looking on other websites (hotels.com, roomstays.com and expedia.com). I asked for this to be changed to a 4 star hotel and was told I needed to provide “proof” of the other ratings by other websites. Meanwhile, I was transferred time and time again to the “Dispute” Team only to be told that they were “sorry” but it could not be changed and my websites provided are not ones they look at. Well, call it what you will – it is just plain simple. False Advertising. I have been a customer with Priceline for many years and made many reservations using your company. However, after beign treated so beligerantly by each representative in the dispute department I am now forced to contact my credit card company and will proceed with further action against you. The situation could have been easily rectified by moving me to a better hotel with a price that I would pay the difference of. However, your inept customer service representatives (plural)would rather say “no” over and over again like robots and do not care about having repeat customers. Again, they were patrinizing and beligerant and if that is what is now representing Priceline then so be it. I will take my business affairs elsewhere and I will make certain to tell everyone else I know about this experience. Not only did I have to show “proof” from other websites for your representatives as requested of me but to then continuously transfer me around only to be told by your reps that it really just doesn’t matter. Shame on YOU, Priceline.
