Travel Date- 4th july 2012. Sector- Singapore/ Dubai/Jeddah. Complaint- Exceptionally poor service on Dubai Jeddah sector. Complaint Details: I have always held Emirates service in very high esteem till my last journey on the 4th of July on EK 805. I was seated in 53C which is right next to the galley. The flight departs at 0705am from Dubai. My flight from Singapore was at 2am and I had a transit time of less than 2 hours at Dubai International Airport.
I was dissapointed for not being served my meal even though I was sitting net to the galley. I was completely overlooked by the perser named Eric . I had to request for my meal and hilight the fact that I have not been attend to whilst the clearance of trays was taking place. What made me even more annoyed was that Eric behaved as if he was doing a favor on me, I asked for the waffle option to which he said there is no waffle option avaliable.
I had to hilight to him the options mentioned on the menu handout which he was clueless about. I am a passenger with a fully paid ticket and expect a professional & courteous service on board. This is extremly unlikey of Emirates but it has left a very bad impression on my mind.
More so I asked for a customer feedback form which was filled and handed to the chief perser a French national cannot recollect his name but I have not heard from Emirates. Its been close to a month since this incident took place but I have not recieved any courtesy email from Emirates. Guess the airline does not value its passangers.
If this kind of service continues with servise staff being full of attitue Emirates will soon loose its top slought of one of the leading airlines of the world.
