I purchased a gallon of Deans milk at your Riverdale, Illinois location. The date for last day of sale was 10/3/2012. I had used about 2/3 of the gallon, and when I put it on my cereal this morning 9/29/2012 – the milk had an awful taste to it. I took it back with the receipt to the store I purchased it at, and both clerks gave me dirty looks, and told me they would do a one time courtesy return, but not again. I don’t understand: If the milk goes bad, it’s my fault? Both of these clerks were very rude, and the whole incident was both embasrassing and humiliating. I do a lot of shopping at CVS, but this will certainly prevent me from shopping there again! I am very angry and hurt. I very rarely return anything, and this is how I am treated? And I have NEVER returned anything to that store. So, I guess that Jewel and Walgreens will now have my business.
By in large the folks that work at the location are rude – - somethingI don’t experience at your other locations. I am very upset. Taking back a gallon of spoiled milk with a receipt should NOT have upset me. This is just awful! You have lost me as a customer – that’s for sure!
