I am very disappointed with the Woolworths men smart pants. I purchased a pair of navy blue trousers for my man, at a cost of R275. He wore them once maybe twice and all the stitching has come undone. Almost as if it was never sewed closed properly in the first place. This also happen to a pair on my black woolworths work pants I bought back in October 2011. Also within a week of purchase, the back stitching all came loose and once again looks as if it was never sew on correctly in the first place.
I used to only buy my work clothes from Woolworths, but within the past 6 months I have realised that I am no longer getting my money’s worth. Which is so sad. I have an old pair of pants I purchased some three years ago from Woolworths and they are still perfect. Has the standard of quality dropped so much, that within a week of purchase is needs to be repaired by a professional taylor. And addtional cost of R100, after the purchase price of R275. This is not fair.
Please ensure quality control. I will be writing to the public too. As this has also happened to my mother and other family members. Why should we pay the high price for good quality and still end up with bad quality? Unfortunately I have had to say good bye to my Woolworths store, the disappointment again proved to me too much.
