I have been on the phone with the back office many times about this nxpay scam as well as from my local branch making the calls to the “Chase back office” for 2 months now and have been promised the funds of 501.50 to be returned to my account several times. I filed the suggested fraud paperwork against the other party, Nxpay and promised funds returned by Chase bank. Each time I call I am told the same thing, funds will be returned in 4 hours.
On Monday, I had an account rep from Nxpay on a 3 way call with Chase, to prove that the funds are not in Nxpay, nor are they under investigation for this scam. I cancelled the electronic transfer to Nxpay immediately after I scheduled it and it never got into the account there. On Monday, Oct. 29th on that 3 way conversation, Nxpay provided the code numbers to prove that the funds were interrupted and were not put into the account at Nxpay.
Chase has credited my account twice and taken the funds back out twice, it feels like a total fraud, leaving me with negative $501.50 in my account. I am spoke to the back office today, Oct. 31st and they say there was a mistake, the Chase rep, manager on the Monday Oct. 29th call forgot to put an amount he approved to be credited back. The Nxpay rep and myself witnessed the confirmation of the manager that funds would be put back into my account.
