I took my cellphone(Nokia E72) in for repairs after the screen cracked. This was on 12/09/2011 and I handed it in at the Vodacom shop Paarl Mall.The sales consultant explained that the phone need to be send to their Technical Dep. which was at Tygervalley and I accepted that. During October I received a message from Tygervalley indicating that my phone was ready for pick up. When I went to Vodacom SHop I was told that the phone was not there and that they(Vodacom Paarl Mall) will follow it up.
In the meantime I have visited the shop nearly 10 times, but I just cannot get hold of my phone. My last conversation with the manager (3 Jan 2012) did not go well as she was very arrogant. She assured me that she will follow up on my phone, but I really feel let down by Vodacom as I am paying for a phone of which I have no use and I insist that my complaint be dealt with urgently.
I purchased a Vodafone Nokia web book on the 23rd dec, and the sales consultant did not check if it was working or not. when i got home i tried following procedures on the manual, but unfortunately the poor webbook just frozen and it was not working. I took it to vodacom benoni the next dat that is on the 24th, and i was given stories as i was not impressed with the product i was given. They even refused to cancel my contract. I did my reasearch only to find out that many people took the webbook back to vodacom.
Even today I havent received any call from them as promised. this is the worst service ive ever received from vodacom benoni lakeside. I don’t think i will do business with them anymore after this poor experience.
