Due to a major illness that hospitalized me in Dec 2011 I was unable to pay my Dec payment on time. Wow did that unleash a shit storm from Wells Fargo. 3-4 phone calls a day, countless pieces of mail threatening foreclosure, and the cake topper was a “agent” came to home to make sure the property was still occupied and then they tack on an additional $15 charge to my balance. In one 7 day period in Jan I had 35 phone calls from these low lifes. I asked the csr if Wells Fargo was hurting for money so badly that they needed another bailout. Mind you I spoke with a concerned agent whose sentiment was I hope your doing better but where is the payment. I explained the situation and everything was documented in their computer system but of course the next gestapo agent to call didn’t bother to look at it. What a bunch of bully’s and thugs. Took me two months to catch up on my payments but I am current now. These jack-booted thugs are the WORST mortgage company I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend you look somewhere else for a loan. And if you are being harassed like this and want to phone calls to stop you need to ask for a cease and desist form from the lovely customer service agent (yeah right), fill it out and send it back in.
