Microsoft Complaint: IE Won’t work right

HP was contacted with IE gmail problem. HP uninstalled IE, then re-installed it but it will not display my www.msn.com web site. Now they tell me AFTER 12 HOURS of many phone calls, including to a supervisor, that the computer need to be set back to factory settings and all my stuff re-installed. THIS IS REDICULIOUS. I’m not a computer person and this task scares the hell out of me. I really want to send it back to HP and have them fix this.
