Pam Ward must be the president of the Maya Moore Fan Club. Rather she likes it or not, Simone Augustus has been and still is the leader of the Minnesota Lynx. i.e. tonight Simone made a driving layup but, according to Ward, “only because MM was running down the opposite end of the court. She wasn’t even in the play. I also take exception to ESPN continually saying “Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx” and having the camera following her almost continuously. Give me a break. Does ESPN have stock in her?
Simone has paid her due and deserves more respect than that. MM hasn’t earned that yet.
