I recently bought Logic Studio for Mac. I went online and looked at the prerequisites. I made sure to look at all the information. For some reason, they failed to communicate to the masses that in order to download Logic Studio you need Logic Pro 6 or above. On the box, it says Upgrade. I was thinking “Upgrade? For what?” Looked all over the box. It says NOTHING about it being the “upgrade version” until I started reading the booklet…This is horrendous marketing and customer service. It should warn you as much as possible that Logic Studio needs logic 9.
In the Apple store, it even states that Logic Studio HAS logic 9 with it! Well, it doesn’t. If there was something I, the customer, needed to know, the information I need should be in bold lettering and clear as possible and not just a sticker that says “Upgrade”.
