I visit the local Burger King (Harlan, IA) almost dialy to have a cup of coffee and most times breakfast with the guys. I must say that it is becoming increasingly difficult to do this. The service at the store is very poor. The staff are rude in how they speak to people and very unprofessional in their appearance. They wear all kinds of piercings (not food safe I’m sure) and do not wear gloves to do food prep. They don’t even know what they are doing when making the food. (These are NOT new hires either) They only partially make a sandwich and when you ask them for the correct or appropriate order they get testy with you.
Last I knew, a customer was entitled to what they ordered. It is really starting to look like I need to find a new place to hang with the guys for coffee. I went to a burger king in mission, Texas on Conway, for those of you all from here and the employees were mimicking one on their fellow workers because of his handicap. This gentlemen is a hard worker and I know that because I go there from time to time. They treat him in a very demoralizing maner. When I complained, the manager did not even give our complaint the proper attention it deserved, even giving us a smirk and treating their treatment of this mentally challenged man as normative…
I am very diss appointed, could not enjoy my burger… My stomach churning with anger.
