On September 24, 2012 i visited your Peoria, AZ Home Store to suhip a gift from gift registry to Oh.
The employees at the store didnot know how to print off the registry and I had to wait until someone from the office could do so. When I finally got service and went to have gift ordered to be shipped the clerk did not know how to do so and had to have someone from the office (I assume a Manager) come to help her.
I was informed that in order to pay for this merchandise by check I had to purchase a gift card that would then be applied to the order via computer. I did so and when the manager went to apply it it would not accept it and she had to call the order in.
From the minute I walked into the store until I walked out was well over one and half hours. I had to do a lot of waitint around. I was never given a detailed receipt only receipt that I had paid for merchandise.
I was NOT given a tracking number so i could track the procress. I was told to call an 800 number if the merchandise did not arrive within 4 to 10 days. Upon arriving homje I had to call the parents of groom, long distance, to inform them that gift was arriving and to let me know when and if it arrived.
I also was not given a chance to sent notice who was sending gift, so I had to infomre parents who sent gift and what it was. Needless to say I* am a very unsatisfied customer and will NEVER shop at any JC Penhny store again.
I have informed many of my friends who are JC Penny customers and who have accounts with you of my experience and they have informed me that they will NOT shop at your stores and those with accounts wil cancell the immediately.
I have never experienced such service in any store, in cluding JC Penny. I feel that you shoulod know how your employees do and I feel that they should get more training, especially one’s at customer service desks…
