Hard Drive on my Sony Laptop Dead

After just having the Sony laptop for 22 months, it shuts off during my AP history class and would not turn on for more than 45 seconds. Prior to this mishap, the screen began to discolor around year one on a supposedly great laptop from a formerly respectable company. I was just informed that I have a bad hard drive and with a defective fan unable to cool it off, the motherboard of the Sony laptop only has months of life left on it (more than one source has told me this). This makes NO SENSE!!!

How is my first Sony aptop durable for 5 years while the second of the SAME BRAND AND STYLE is junk after less than two? This was designed to break down on purpose….Sony has lost this loyal customer as well as many others who know of what has happened to me
