I need to make the Google searches stop trying to guess what I am typing. it is a horrible experience every single time i do a search, and I cringe at making searches because it is so uncomfortable that your program is guessing what I am thinking and typing, and worse it never, never has any idea what I am searching for so it just overloads the page with tons of garbage. It is such an imposition upon my entire life, emotions etc. etc. etc.
Please educate me on how to use Google search and have a pleasant experience doing so by NOT experiencing your search engine trying painfully, and unsuccessfully trying to guess what my next move is before I make it. It is just so awful and I do want to use Google search because of the wisdom of the results I yield but the experience of using the search every single day is making me grow old before my time with the stress it causes me by trying to constantly guess what I am typing.
It is always incorrect, and even if it were correct so what it has no business anticipating my every thought, it’s horrible. Please advise how to make your program stop displaying this horrible guessing game answers.

I have exactly the same problem it is impossible to use Google anymore , the guessing ( which I cannot turn off-is there a way?) and all the adverts now ( sponsered links) make it impossible to use. I am trying to find a simple “old style” search engine which actually searches so far without success. Any reccomedations welcome.
I am fed up with Google. I have gone to Bing and there is a way to TURN OFF THE GUESSING, BUT!!! I really do not like Bing. I started on the internet with yahoo back in the baby days of the net, then we found MOMMA. I guess I will go back to one of those. I REALLY DON”T want to but….. Let me know when Google wises up and returns to the “Simple days of yore…” Unhappy in Detroit MI (for a million and ONE reasons)
no one replied with an answer so I will…ti the right of your google search window will be a symbol for google same red green yellow and blue then the search button right next to the search button is a very small arrow down button (if you weren’t looking for it you’d never notice it!) Click the arrow down and choose manage…then general…then search features…then UNchoose or UNclick the following…1. suggest searches as you type (this is the irritating suggestions) 2. enable instant for faster searching and browsing (this is the annoying loading of searches before you have even finished typing and stops your ability to finish typing your search) 3. store search history on my computer (this will stop the assuming they know based on previous choices where you want to go this time) Done! Hope this helps and cant believe google didn’t offer this information in response to the complaints
