Gas Station Complaint: vehicle damage by bp property

upon leaving my local bp station, by car was damaged by a faulty parking barrier, a bolt was extended from it’s hole, and tore my bumper off, resulting in extensive damage. I would like the responsible party, BP, or the station, to cover the costs of the repairs. I am not able to get any information from the station manager. A police report has been filed, and I have pictures of the damage and the faulty parking barrier bolt.
