I realize this is a Beta version of this game, but, for Pete’s Sake! It seems like they’re just trying to distract players from the fact that they haven’t finished the damn thing by sending us off on wild goose chases, like upgrading every single building we’ve purchased. Never mind the fact that they constantly encourage us to get “more friends”. Even when you DO get more friends, they put constraints on you – “Sorry. You’ve made all the requests you can for materials today. Come back tomorrow.”

I loved playing Gardens of Time until the other afternoon, I had just forked out money to join the Inner Circle and was playing a scene in GOT when my computer crashed and BURNT !! I only had it for 6 months .. my Gardens of Time neighbors are experiencing similar issues and have QUIT the game .. I want to make sure they don’t kill someone else’s computer. I am disabled and on a fixed income .. this sucks ! Please hear me out .. I don’t complain much .. I dearly loved the game. RIP dear pc

I liked this game when I started it, but, I’ve about had enough. I’m not even mentioning (okay, I am!) how freaking slow it is to load, and, getting OUT of it after you’ve been allotted your 6 plays (if you don’t cash in your extra 5 plays) is almost impossible.

I pay for gold bars and they’ve started going missing! I’m real angry about this, and also when you start a build instead of it taking a day it takes 3 – 5 days to complete, and each day you log in its added yet another day. Can’t even get to log into the Playdom site to register a complaint. The whole things stinks!!!!!!
For the last few months, Playdom’s Gardens of Time has become increasingly difficult and frustrating. There are so many bugs in the game, and things are so poorly designed, that it’s really not fun anymore. In the last 7 weeks, Playdom has introduced a new component: crystal scenes, in which you have to beg neighbors for crystals and other items just to be able to build things. The request and receive portions of the game are so flawed that most requests don’t make it to the intended recipients.
This may be an effort by Playdom to get people to spend money on the game. However, given that people are now aware that the company charges different prices for gold – depending on who is favored and who is not – most folks are wary and are cancelling their subscriptions to the Inner Circle. Worst of all, customer service at Playdom appears to be non-existent. Most complaints are ignored, and when occasionally a response is sent, it is generic and unhelpful. The Playdom community forum for Gardens of Time is now filled with threads of complaint, and a facebook movement to boycott the game, file Better Business Bureau complaints and request assistance from state attorneys general has been started – the boycott date is February 17.
Last line : were the player you played with ever really your freinds .. who knows ??? Take care and keep playing .. It’s us that can move on who are the real winners . The ppl at PD are more or less stuck dealing with the inner circle problems.. guess you could say they are in a garden that has become a prison… this from me , a gal in whellchair .. lol xo to all the ppl who were my freinds there ..
this is the 3rd time you have taken gold from me,why is this happening?I am down to only 13 bars , my records would prove this ,if you would please check. I am on level 59 and just reached this ,when it took my balance of 18 down to 13 instead of adding my 1 bar of gold for reaching 59 and making it 19 which is still not correct I had 27 bars before that and even more the time before when it was took from me.I am boycotting with the group and will quit after that if it keeps getting worse!

I’m writing regarding the Playdom game of Gardens of Time. As you have noticed, many of the players of this great game have decided to boycott play today to express their frustration over the game glitches and low level of customer care given to user concerns. While this is a free game, it has the option of paid aspects that are used by many of the more dedicated GoT gamers. However, the paid portion, such as the “Inner Circle”, which includes free gold every month, special decorations for the garden and early previews of new chapters, fails to meet the standards one would expect and which are promised when paying for them. Gold routinely disappears from a players inventory-after being paid for with REAL money-and when tickets to Playdom are submitted, generic responses of “We’re aware of the problem and are working on it” are most often the only reply.
It usually requires 2-3 contacts with Playdom to achieve the return of paid for items, if then. This is theft, pure and simple. And there is an element of unfairness/inequality in the different regions that this game is available in, and to an extent even cases of inequality in the same region. Some players are charged more money for the same amount of gold than other players. Some players have more lax rules and conditions to their game than other players in the same general areas. The game might require one player to have 910,000 points to achieve a goal, while another player can achieve the same goal with 80,000 points. The concept of this game, while not perfect, has excellent appeal and is a true pleasure to play-when it works.
When it doesn’t work, there’s shoddy follow-up to our requests for assistance. The graphics, elements and story-line to this game are unsurpassed by any other game of it’s type being played that I’m able to find. But the frustration over the glitches and “uncaring” attitude of the game developers are driving away players. If we didn’t love playing this game, we wouldn’t be part of the organised movement to try to force the attention of Playdom towards repairing what’s not working and communicating with the players at a better level. This is a quality game played by dedicated fans. It deserves a higher quality of care from Playdom than what it’s been receiving thus far.
This game does not function as advertised. Many ill and elderly people play this for relaxation but have been using their personal funds to buy gold because the upgrading does not work as promised. Some do not understand that you are supposed to be able to upgrade without purchasing gold from Playdom, and Playdom has far exceeded any necessary time to fix the issues at hand, which people have complained about for months and months. Some are filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I would encourage you go to to the GOT Facebook page and complain, and also Playdom’s FB page. Call them if you can.
I played garden of time for a while, i unlocked all the scenes and just needed the last wonder. I was playing one of the games and the game ended. When i tried to open the game again mijn id was gone and i have to start all over again :s I cann’t find my id back!
