Flex Seal Canada Reviews – It’s a Scam Rubber Can 3.00/5 (60.00%) 4 votes

I saw the Flex Seal commercial in Canada and thought I could so use that. I placed my order online, I feel that’s safer than the shady up sell on the phone. I only wanted one can, but they kept upgrading it to have a second can, I only want one, I only need one. I put my credit card info in and went through the process. At the end it said ok your total will be $79.78. I don’t want to spend that much, I don’t get why it was that much. I finally just said forget it, this is a flex seal scam I want nothing to do with it.

I closed the window and said forget it, this flex seal Canada is a rip off. Shortly later the same day I saw an email about how they couldn’t charge my card.. I didn’t want a charge, I didn’t want to deal with them, initially I wanted one can, since I couldn’t get that I didn’t want any cans. I was glad they couldn’t get my card to work, I didn’t submit the final information, so they shouldn’t have been allowed to anyway. I was pissed, it said to contact them at a phone number to rerun the card. I ignored it. I was pissed. Since I have seen nothing but complaints about flex seal online.

I forget about this until a month later there was a charge on my card for this. I was of course upset. I called them and told them my issue. He said I am authorized to let you keep the order and discount you x amount (I forgot what that amount was) I said no, I just want a refund. He said ok, I am authorized to have you return two of the cans and I will lower your order to this. I said no! I wanted ONE can, you wouldn’t do that.

Plus you ripped me off, when I saw the total I was shocked and closed the window not completing the order. I never got any receipt saying I did finish the order, I know I didn’t click continue, so I am curious how they are so sneaky and where they slip in the charge (without any receipt to your email).

Finally after much back and forth I learned somehow they had shipped four cans (what???) and that when the box arrived I need to write the number on the box and then send it back to them quote ” mail using the cheapest method the USPS or UPS or the FedEx has” so it doesn’t matter which service, as long as its the cheapest option they have. My friend who works at a box n ship store said they aren’t allowed to accept those sorts of cans to ship. I don’t know what to do, going to talk to the post office tomorrow.

I received a phone call from some company saying we wanted to say thank you for ordering Flex Seal in Canada, we are sending you a thank you that contains a $100 in free gas. I stopped him to say I am returning the flex seal. He said well we have nothing to do with it actually, we send our thing separate.. he starts to go on about some thank you package that if I enjoy will automatically charge me a low price of (I think like $30 bucks or something) every month.

Wait what? You shouldn’t even have my credit card! “We will be using the same card you used for your Flex Seal order”. Really? I don’t want this! “Its on the way, if you don’t want to continue this wonderful service call the 1-800 number in the box and they will cancel, however the $100 in free gas is still yours to keep.”

I don’t believe any of that hogwash, I intend on sending back the gas card or whatever it is as well. Thing is the “thank you gift” didn’t come in the flex seal box. SO now I have to watch my junk mail to make sure I don’t accidentally throw this out? This is a scam, dishonest, shady, evil.. horrible company. Do you really think that the inventor of these products wanted their useful products used in scams that screw Canadians over? Somehow I think not. I am lost and livid.

If you are here to vent about flex seal poor reviews keep an eye our for their Thank you gift!!!

Wow, so happy I didn’t give in to my urge to try this product out – I’m finding similar reviews to this all over the internet. Buying through infomercials is generally sketchy to begin with but, from what I’ve read, flex seal has out-done itself. What they’re doing is illegal and I hope somebody teaches them a lesson soon so we can have refief from these painful commercials – godspeed to Mr. Allman.

Wow… I bought one can at Bed Bath and Beyond at sawgrass and just used it yesterday to stop a leak in the roof that has been bugging me for the past few years. It actually worked. I came online to see if I can distribute this product in Jamaica when I ran into this complaint. These guys are horrible. Thanks for the heads up.
