I went to your Springfield store and took my two small grandchildren. When I got in and put them in a cart I could not find where they were doing the event. I went to ask a cashier and she said We aren’t doing it here, we didn’t get the Dr. Suess equipment we need. Even though the web site said at every Target Store. I packed the grandkids up again and went to the Target at the Springfield Mall.
We arrived at the event and the kids were so excited because they it was Dr. Suess week in school. When we sat down for the reading the one woman was amazing. She was loud and clear and dramatic while the other girl you could bearly hear and read like a fifth grader would read. We went to pick up the surprise gift bag but they didn’t have enough of the Dr. Suess stuff.
While all the other kids were sitting their with their Dr. Suess bag, Lorax mustache, crayons and book plus snacks my kids got a Target bag with Target juice, goldfish and fun fruits. They were really upset not to get any Dr. Suess stuff. I think if your running an event and the store down the street is not participating then you should make sure the closest store which will get all the kids from both Targets you should have alot of extra stuff.
You are a big corporation who could definatly afford to over stock instead of under. This was a disgrace all your store cared about was selling Dr. Suess books. I would like to get some of the Dr. Suess bags and other stuff that went in the bag for my grandchildren.
