I bet you, you all know about the Disney Channel “hit” show, “Shake It Up”. I was watching it with my daughter, Alexa, and then “Shake It Up” was on. As a parent, I say that I have never seen any thing more trashy on a kids channel. I mean the “dancing” is too “Sexy”, the outfits and clothes that Cee Cee and Rocky wear are just sleazy. This show is a horrible influence on kids of all ages. They show Cee Cee, a bad girl with no manners or respect, and she always gets in trouble. Before my daughter started watching this, she was an angel. So was my other daughter, Melony.
For example, Alexa, who happens to be 10 years old, started watching “Shake It Up”, and she has been getting phone calls and emails from school, and she has been getting a lot of suspention lately, also she never does her homework, and always fail tests on purpose to be one of the so called “populars” or “cool” kids. On the other hand, Melony, who is 7 years old, used to be so sweet. Now, she always back talks me, never does what I ask her to do, and she started asking for short shorts and half shirts. Do not let your kids watch this, for I am confiscating this show from my kids.
If I were you, I would do the same. Letting your kids watch this is bad parenting.
