i tried to drop off a prescription at old kings rd & pc prkwy palm coast, fl, after being there a few days before i was told to come back on 10/9/12 to get it filled. on 10/9 the rude, ignorant pharmacy manager tells me it’s her decision not to fill an out of state prescription. not, “i’m sorry”, not apologetic in any way. she basically laughed at me. this was not her ultimate decision, after calling the 800 # (on hold for 1/2 an hour and got no where!) i was told narcotic drugs can’t be filled at any cvs in the state of florida because they have so many drug addict’s in that state. the pharmacist could have just told me that in a polite manner and advise me to go elsewhere. which i did, i went to walgreens and had no problem getting my prescription filled. at cvs store 3249, i asked “do i need to fly back to my home state to get this filled?”, the arrogant mgr @ store 3249 basically told me – it was not her problem, go ahead make a complaint, it won’t get anywhere. so, i’m filing a complaint in hopes that other’s see this and will take their prescription’s elsewhere, as long as their insurance plan allows them to do so. after getting home 2 hours later, i’ve read several complaints about cvs pharmacy – there rating is 1 star out of 5! as long as i need to get prescriptions filled in the state of fl i will never use cvs again! i will never return to store 3249 for any purchases! save yourself aggravation and go walgreens 2 stores away. that female mgr. shouldn’t have a job dealing w/ customers, a job at all! cvs – customer value store, might be just that -go for the value not customer care. a very dis-satified former shopper with cvs #3249 pharmacy in palm coast fl
