I have just come from the CVS store in Indianapolis IN, located on 10th st in linwood square. I presented a cupon, that I recived in the mail for 25% off my purchase, that was refused by the cashier. I was told it did not match my card. This confussed me due to the fact that the cupon was mail to my house by your corporation. I then asked the cashier to speak to the manager so that maybe someone could help me to understaand as to why the cupon your corporation sent me in my mail is now being refused when it is still marked to be valid by the date set. I was then informed that the manager is on vacation. To me this mean the store is left unattended and with out leadership. With there being no one in store of whom i could talk to to understand why my valid cupon is being refused i asked for you corporate number and to continue my transaction. From the begining the lady was very rude to me and sharp. However at the point I requested a manager and a the corporate number her desire to not assist me increased. I was told she did not hve the number nor was there anyone in the store who could help me in such a way. I then told her to cancle my trasaction and tossed my cvs card on the counter and inforemed he i would not be returing to the store. The cashier then told me that I was not to speak to her in this way. I at this point had raised my voice but had not and did not use any profain laguage or dissrespectful remarks. I was, however, mad due to the disrepect and general lazynezz of your emploee and was talking loud but not yelling, if that makes sence. I would stern to be a proper ajitive for the volume of my voice. I am writing you because i have found that my shopping experiance has grown less and less enjoyably the more I visit your store and Am now informing you that I will never return to a cvs in the future due to this experiance. The fact that there is no manager tells me that the store is with out suporvision and that no one cares to have there bussiness unmanaged, and that what eles could be expected From a bussiness that is run in this fassion than employees that have no respect for the customer or the job they hold. This is sad because i used to enjoy shopping at ur store as I did the other pharmacys that you Have shut down in my locatin. The Rite Aid and the Wal Greens. Though now i will chose to pay more to recive proper customer service.
In closing I am informng you in hopes that you may help to fix the promlem instead of having no one in a store to repesent your company and show that there is value to a customer. I hope you fix this for others becuse i will no longer be shopping at your stores. if any one cares.
