i call to order the dsl internet and the customer service tells me that they dont have it for my area anymore , and that they have the uverse. so i went through all the motions of placing an order to get it because i had a laptop computer.i paid $100 to get a modem they said thati will get a reward card for $100 after the activation, it will be shipped to me on monday march 12,2012..i got the equipment on that day hooked it up after 8pm and low and behold no service.
on tuesday morning i call tech support at 9:35am and they tried to run tests and it still didnt work so i set up an appointment for the service tech to come to my home on wednesday from 8am – 12pm and no one ever showed up and i was home all day…i called att tech again at 7:30pm to see what happened and they said that my appointment for service had been canceled and did not know why it had been canceled .
so im talking to the guy sergio about my modem and he asks me questions about it and then he tells me that i had the wrong modem sent to me and that it is not wireless (for my laptop) and that the new modems that are wireless are out of stock and wont be in stock until april 2, 2012 and they cost $25 and i told him that i was not paying $25 for a modem and i had paid $100 already so he then tell me to go to bestbuy, radio shack or walmart to get a modem fror cheap so that i wont have to have them ship the new one to me..he said that i can hook it up to this modem that i already have…meanwhile i am as sooooo pisssed i should’ve went with INSIGHT

You think you have problems with uverse Internet listen to my story I have been with uverse for 4 years I’m a vet so I appreciate that they don’t outsource but for months I have had nothing but unproffesianilism with customer service especially the techs for starters when I started the service the tech was so untrained he connected my uverse tv to my security cameras. I was away for six months I had got service for my kids , the baby sitter didn’t know when I was called she would tell everything ok are my children watching tv yes ok great she thought she had done something wrong with tv so she would rent them movies I was serving my country and these numbskulls not only interfered with my children’s entertainment but their safety well I got home saw what was going on they fixed it but do you I was compensated no I figured ok mistakes are made since then I don’t trust uverse or techs coming to my home here in L A they all have attitude when they come to your house no respect they walk around with big dirty boots and and have a bad attitude then they shove a paper in front of you and stare you down to fill it out about there performance they all look like thugs what are you going to write down there up in your business have been in your home know your uverse account ?,……,you call customer service and every rep will will give you different answers , if a box goes bad they send you the wrong one but wait there’s more the one I want all uverse customers to know about this is very true techs put notes on your file mine was I was intoxicated and had asked to get an appliance fixed told directly to me and my wife as I called tech services that night and asked why my service was not fixed I asked if put tech services on speaker phone that I member was intoxicated and had asked tech to fix my dryer listen I said why would I do that I have warranty service second honestly does anyone stay home and get drunk possibly but not me sure I’ll have a couple of beers during football season I was sober so uverse customers et me warn you and I mean really warn you techs can put whatever they like in their notes believe me I have an attorney in the family and he advised me that even if I was it was not his business as long as I was letting do his job my home I can do what I want he got very upset and called the office of the president he explained to them to them what occurred with this tech and they said well we don’t see the notes they had been edited not deleted legally can’t delete legal language so I’m telling all uverse customers not only did they lie about me slander they fabricate stories when they can’t fix your problem and customer service you will never ever be able to talk to same rep again only if you want sales service forget it and try calling mr Aimee at office of the president and see if he returns your calls they sent me a generic sorry for the inconvence letter we appreciate your business letter after all the stress they caused me and my family all true they aren’t your friend they only care about the almighty dollar if your system fails talk to customer service then they say tech services you go back and forth it’s a game they play and know that so calif has been conquered by uverse they have a union problem so if u need a tech your going to get a green one and they are going to mess up your system even more I ask them why does my Internet work so poorly oh you have a Mac so macs don’t really
So I pay almost 50 bucks a month for wifi because I can’t use my computer ask I ask can I just get the 14.99 service oh no that’s for new customers only how about just selling me wifi service vino gotta have Internet service look I’m tired I’m drained you win AT&T you even talked ny wife into a phone bundle why do I need a phone I have smart phones not with at&t they are so smart well we we give you a five dollar discount a month gee Thankyou cancel abd you have to take all equipment to the ups store I’m a disabled vet not easy getting around and try getting another carrier I least I know enough of uverse giant monster traps to never get caught in one again if I were single I would cancel in a nano second but as the sayin goescbettervto know your opponent and deal with it or go to to another carrier that may even be worse true story believe I’m giving you info you guys probably know but never the less watch out they cover for themselves abd then leave the customer lookin like an idiot and they lie for each other and say done thing and do the opposite
