I go to the JCP Hair Salon every 5 weeks for cut, color & style (always $100.00, give or take). I use the same stylist & am extremely happy with his work. I noticed today that there was no receptionist & the stylist’s were having to constantly drop what they were doing & run answer phones, wait on customers, run the register, etc… This was extremely annoying to the customers like myself that have had a appointment for 5 weeks. We should not be subjected to our hair colors being ruined due to over processing (mine didn’t, thank God & Mike). This store (Columbus, Ga.) lost a lot of business today. Not only did phones go unanswered, but guests that walked in & sat for a period without being greeted got up & left. This was not any fault of the stylist. They were doing all they could. It is managements responsibility to fill a position themselves if they can not find an employee to work that front counter. The manager should have been working today & removing that burden from those doing hair. This was very poor customer service for those of us having to wait and also for those that were not greeted. Shame on the management of JCP. Word of mouth carries a long way.
