On Saturday the 27th of October at 11.47 i attended your restaurant in camberley surrey , My step son and i ordered 2 meals and a portion of onion rings costing £1.79 . Your cashier took 3 orders and placed the receipts on 3 trays .Their was no method to his completion of the orders with the customer infront of me eventually receiving my onion rings ,which she took to a table approx 100 ft away from the counter and sat down with . Your cashier obviously realising his mistake then went out through the staff door through the toilet corridor out into the main restaurant and collected my onion rings from the previous customer ,i watched with bated breathe his return journey to the rear of the kitchen where he gave them to the person sliding the food down the shute trays ready for placing on trays , he spoke to the person who then slid the said bag of onion rings down the shute for him to retrieve. He retrieved them and put them on my tray! Now having watched all this i said im very sorry but i dont want those thank you very much they were given to someone else ,He argued and said no they had not they were fresh , to which i answered i had watched his journey to retrieve them , to which he then changed his story and said the previous customer hadnt touched them . I was absolutely disgusted by his attitude towards me and hygeine by giving me retreived food so he replaced them and i thought the matter was over . However whilst eating my food he came across and was cleaning a table adjacent to the one we were sitting at and continued to argue with me that this was a perfectly ok situation and was perfectly hygenic , im afraid to say that i was extremely cross and said his customer service skills were apalling which they were and i left the restaurant with my food half eaten , emptying my tray into the bin with my usual care .Our shopping trip out thoroughly spoilt!!! I would sincerely appreciate your input into this matter as to whether this is a general practice in your restaurant chain or whether this member of staff was just acting on his own misguided intuition .
