To whom it may concern, I have a complaint about McDonalds. Please find attached copy of my purchase last night at one of your branches at Somerset Mall. When I got home about ten minutes later only to discover that my order has been messed up again, and again I mean like this is the third time within 2 months that I had to return to this branch to collect the other half of my order. I phone the store immediately when I discovered that two medium fries was not with the order, to my shock the lady asked me if I can come and collect the balance of my order.
This request was uncalled for, seeing that I experienced the same incident twice before and it’s fine to inconvenient the customer to collect the balance on his/hers order on their own expense. If the staff stops having personal conversations while serving their customers, mistakes like this will be reduced to a minimum and you will have more happy customers. One slip up can be excused, but three at the same branch, not called for. Wednesday or Thursdays are usually our McDonalds day, but I’m surely going to look for a replacement.
Once I’ve phoned the store with no success, I phoned your customer complaint line at 18H10. The lady apologizes for the behavior of the store and for the experience I had and promise me that some one from the store will call me within the next half an hour. I’m still waiting. I am very disappointed in McDonald’s and I will make sure that none of my family will return to one of your outlets.
You send out coupons. Every single one expired 12/24/2011 except the smoothie coupon that expired 11/27/2011. I wanted the smoothie and saw that the coupons in the brochure all expired on 12/24/2011. The cashier reflected no- she did not speak english well, so I had no idea why the coupon was not being honored. The manager said it expired 11/27/2011 and I looked to see how I could have read the expiration dates wrong and saw that every other coupon in that brochure expired 12/24/11.
I complained that every coupon except that one expired 12/24/11, but of course they would not honor a coupon that they did not have to. Why does McDonalds try to trick its customers with different expiration dates in the same brochure?
