This is to inform the authorities that my LG GS290 cellphone had a problem with its touch screen and hence I visited Communications, Lucknow (U.P.) which is the authorized service center for LG Mobiles. The engineer there replaced my screen ( Complaint No. RNA 111107096248) with an old one he had, giving the excuse that they did not have new screen to replace and promised me that I would be informed when the new screen is available and thereby to replace it that time. My phone was in warranty that time but since no information about the availability of new screen was given, the warranty period expired.
In the meantime, I even myself called up the service center and they ensured me that since they had replaced my screen with an old one, they would provide me a new screen even if the warranty expires. I visited the center in November 2011 and was called again in January 2012. When I went, they treated me as if I was a fraud and refused totally to replace my screen. I even filed a complaint at the complaint page of LG electronics (Complaint No. 1601120) but didn’t receive any response.
Such kind of fraud is not expected from the representatives of a reputed firm like yours an hence, I wish to seek an immediate action against the same and get my screen replaced at the earliest possible. Otherwise I would have to seek help from the Consumer Forum. Awaiting an immediate response/action.
