However, I think the only way I am going to save this booking is by talking to the person in charge at Customer Relations??? Could you kindly see if you can help please.
CHRONOLOGICAL SEQUENCE OF BOOKING REFERENCE 6XUNMI DATED 6th September 2012. Thurs 6th – Stephen Heath made booking online for son, MICHAEL HEATH. Whilst doing the payment details, I tick the box which confirms me as the AMEX Card holder and the traveller. ( as advised by QATAR AIRWAY KL office, requiring verification of the card the next day).
Once confirmed and printed , I notice that the passengers name was entered as myself. This was a mistake that I made.
Fri 7th – I visit the QA office in KL to explain my mistake. They adviced me that I have to make enquiry to FEEDBACK online. I sent email immediately to “e-booking”, telling them of mistake. Also, sent to FEEDBACK online an account of the error that I had made. But did not receive any acknowledgment or reference number.
Tues 11th – Sent another message to FEEDBACK and received acknowledgement in the form of a reference number; 177495 from support/qatarairways.
Thurs 13th – sent email to QATAR AIRWAYS SUPPORT, asking for feedback.
Sat 15th – sent another email to QATAR AIRWAYS SUPPORT, asking for response.
Tues 18th – filed another FEEDBACK ONLINE enquiry and received ANOTHER reference number; 181008, still no response at all.
Fri 21st – incredibaly I receive a a survey from QA SUPPORT, asking me how I rate the support? When so far I haven’t received any answers to all 6 enquiries sent.
Sun 23rd – visit QA office in DOHA and I am provided with phone number of “E Commerce Support”. After much discussion and forwarding again of all the previous correspondence, they inform me by email that they cannot do a name change. They also provide me with an email of the Customer Relations “ TELL US” email. At the moment, I shall lose QAR 3357 as a result of this.
I am a member of the QA Privilege Club and have made FOUR bookings on QA in the last month. I have a large family and I would like to use QA. This policy by QA will certainly deter me from travelling on QA in the future. This is poor public relations.
