Since I purchased my Blackberry 9300 Curve in May 2011, I have had no problems with it and have not skipped a month of the R60 BIS bundle. Since then I have become a part of a mobile website that allows one to download American tv series and actual is the highlight feature of my phone to me. For a while now, though, I have not been able to download anything about 40MB, and every time I attempt to do so, an “http Error: 403 Forbidden” pops up, telling me that the item is too large to be requested for download. I researched the error and that your ISP might have set a limit which would prevent you from being authorised from downloading larger files.
Did Blackberry put a limit on our downloads and, if so, why? Likewise, if it is an error on the part of Blackberry RIM, why have we not been informed, warned or notified? Most individuals who own Blackberries have purchased their Blackberry specifically for the convenient and UNCAPPED internet service, offered by Blackberry RIM. When this is feature is altered in anyway, loyal customers become very displeased. I believe that such a move on the part of Blackberry RIM will most likely result in the loss of both existing and prospective clients if the problem is not resolved.
Not simply over a download limitation but for the fact that none of the Blackberry mobile phone holders have been informed, warned or notified. I have seen many complaints of this specific “http Error: 403 Forbidden” by many Blackberry owners all over all sorts of websites and am shocked that nothing had been done about it already. I sincerely hope that someone with diligence, competence and efficiency recieves my complaint so that a potential problem for Blackberry RIM can be avoided.

Why did bb limit the downloads to 40mb cause my phone is not nice anymore I’m on data plan but because of this need to get another phone that won’t restrict me to downloads as I wanbt to.Just won’t to say bb is getting bad service
The one day my bb was working and the next no more downloads, no warning and no explanation. I am not happy at all.
I have always been a loyal bb user,downloading was impressive my social networking was briliant until I noticed a problem downloading anything other than pictures!!!! Therefore I thought the problem persisted on my phone itself so I bought a new bb ended up with the same download failed results!! Inturn I took notice to my sim card and changed it!! I still have the same problem so I bought another new bb!!! Problem still persists!!! I have owned 10 blackberrys and the last 4 that I have have downloaded nothing but pictures,next month I’m buying my girlfriend,her mother,her bouyfriend myself and my grandfather the new I phones. So that I can get rid of this problem!! Too many thouisands I have spent on blackberry itself and am quiting righht now!!! So long and thanks for it while it lasted!!! I phone here we come!!! Thanks to all the readers reading this post!! Hope you all will eventually have a change of mind about this!!!
