I purchased a deal from Unique Nails by Lisa in West Hartford, CT almost a year ago. Over the course of that year, not one of my four appointment requests was accommodated due to “large volume requests”. now, one month before the del expires, the business has placed a message on their voicemail saying that due to the large number of appointment requests, if you are calling for an appointment in March or April, she is booked and cannot accept any more appointments.
The deal expires in April, so basically the business is rescinding the offer for those who ave been unable to redeem their certificates by the expiration date. Not only was it inconvenient to waste my money on a business that ignores their contract, but Groupon added insult to injury by not refunding my card for this bogus purchase, and only offered to give me a Groupon credit!
Beware of purchasing deals from Unique Nails by Lisa, since this type of poor customer service and even worse business planning seems to be the way she regularly does business. Shame on you Groupon for treating your customers so shabbily. Please review your refund policy, particularly in this type of circumstance (business refusing to honor their deal).
