I have a big complaint! I had $10.00 coupons from Kohls that I received through my email. My Mom went on Friday to pick her up something with hers, then on Saturday, I was not well and unable to go so my Mom went back. One of the cashiers I guess, knew my Mom had been in there the day before and when my Mom handed her my $10.00 coupon, the cashier told her it could only be used one per household and THEN SHE TOOK MY COUPON AND WOULD NOT GIVE IT BACK TO MY MOM.
It was a different household since I am 52 years old and I do not live with my Mom and it was VERY unfair to me and my Mom for this cashier to treat my Mom like she did. She left hurt and very upset. I believe Kohls owes us. This cashier did not know the circumstances and it was not her place to take judgement in her own hands and take the coupon away. This was at the Myrtle Beach store in SC and it was an eldrely cashier. I do not have anything at all against older cashiers but if they are going to have the attitude as this cashier did, they DO NOT need to be working at a place of business where they have to deal with the public. Thank you.
I wanted to bring to your attention about incorrect information provided by the Manager @ the Kohls Location. I had a 30% coupon that can be applied towards merchandise purchase at Kohls. I also had a 24.99 Merchandise Credit that I had because of a return I had previously made. When I wanted to buy the merchandise using he merchandise credit I had the cashier + manager were not ready to apply the 30% discount coupon that I had. There is no information published either on the 30% coupon card OR on the merchandise credit that those cannot be used on a signle purchase. Merchandise Credit is like cash that I can use @ kohls anytime I want, but if I have coupons that can be applied why would those not get applied.

Even if the coupon was YOUR coupon, your MOTHER was trying to use it. She’d already used one. The cashier knew that. Yes, she should have given it back, but she was right to deny the sale.
The terms say one per customer. That means one per customer. Since your mother already used one, she couldn’t use another, even if she was purchasing something for you. Because she’s the same customer.
I just wanted to reply to the end of the comment about trying to use the 30% off coupon with a Kohl’s merchandise credit. The 30% off coupon is only good if you use your Kohl’s charge card. It plainly states that on either the sales flyer/booklet or postcard you received in the mail. It also plainly states that on all the posters in the store. A Kohl’s merchandise credit is not a Kohl’s credit card, and as such, cannot be used in conjunction with the 15, 20 or 30% off promotion.
