Woolworths – Human Errors are now acceptable

I shopped today at Woolworths, you know, the store that prides itself on refunding money when they stuff up or have ‘unfresh’ food….. This is a classic…….
The deli department had a cut price on marinated chicken wings $6.59 a kilo to $2.59 a kilo. The price on the goods was @ the original price.
I advised the girl at the self serve registers, who went to the deli and got a new ‘reduced’ price tag…..
Suddenly I thought, hey this item is now supposed to be free, as per store policy.
The supervisor said, no this policy is not applicable when its a … wait for it ….. ‘ A HUMAN ERROR’……
So I was given a choice of accepting & paying for the goods or not……
Got me thinking …… who makes computers have errors…… no way it could be humans ? HA !
So, apparently …… Woolworths thinks its staff are allowed to make errors ….. Lucky in this day of self serve , EFTOS, I checked the price… How mauch do they make of people who DONT check ?????
I guess Woolworths & thier shareholders motto is …. …. Thank God for HUMAN errors.

Jack in the box discriminates against disabled

I went to jack in crap drive thru in Burien , Washington on 128th &Ambaum after having oral surgery having 13 teeth pulled and a mouth full of gauze and ordered a strawberry banana smoothie sounding probably mentally disabled with all the gauze and I am also on disability and am disabled from brain tumor and brain surgery less then a year ago I almost died from brain bleeding complications had a 2nd surgery to drill a hole in top of my head to drain blood and relieve pressure on my brain but back to the complaint the person in charge workin the window thought he’d be funny and act like he was mentally disabled when he answered my order with a yeaaaaaaahhhhh ooooookkkkkkkaaaaaayyyyyyy drawn out like he couldnt speak like me at the time ! I was so disgusted I pulled up asked if he thought it was funny to be disabled he laughed and smirked and I pulled away and left then called manager to complain and he offers a smoothie and any combo meal i’d like and says hes there everyday I go in next day and guy who discriminated is again workin drive thru must recognize me takes my whole order then says what # was that like he did’nt just take it and repeat it back so I go in ask to speak to manager he says he’s in charge and smirks at me again so humiliated I will never go back there again for nothin even FREE !

Aldi – Lack of Customer Service

I have been a regular shopper of Aldi for a number of years. Recently, they have opened a new one at Dinnington and I was really pleased to have one closer than the nearby Worksop store. Unfortunately, there are a few members of staff who are extremely rude and letting down the good reputation of Aldi. I have been dealt with very aggressively by one male member of staff on 2 occassions in front of a queue of customers. On my last visit to the store, another 2 customers came over to me and said, that they thought it was disgusting how unfriendly and aggressive the staff were in this new store and asked me if I was ok. I am very upset by the way I have been treated and feel I can no longer use this store.

Lowe’s – Extremely Bad Customer Service

We purchased a front-load Washer and Dryer from Lowe’s on 3/23/2012 anticipating moving to a new home on May 12th. We were told the washer and dryer were not in stock at the time but would be ordered and ready for delivery in May. We got calls saying the washer and dryer and dryer were at the store awaiting delivery. I called on May 8th to setup the delivery for the 12th. I was told at that time that the washer was not in stock and wouldn’t be available for at least 10 days if a shipment got to Dallas the next day. After much discussion with the store appliance manager and store manager that both seemed like they would just have preferred for us to go elsewhere. Since no one was very confident that the washer would be available in 10 days, They finally agreed to deliver the floor model until ours arrived. On the 12th the delivery people came with the dryer and washer. But the washer door wouldn’t open after being closed. They tried to fix it but since it was a floor model they didn’t have a manual. They suggested getting a different washer until ours came in and someone from the store called and agreed to do that IF we would come and PAY for another washer. THIS IS CRAZY. We have already paid for a washer over 6 weeks ago that we still DO NOT have and they want us to purchase another one. This is the LOWESt alright

Sears Technical Support for Elliptical is just terrible!

We purchased a Sole e95 elliptical from Sears in late December of last year. The screen turns on but nothing changes, speed, resistance, etc. It just says 0 across the board.
I had called tech support which is thru Sears unfortunately and they set our appt and sent us a new console. It was the wrong one. I called back, told them it was incorrect and he said hmmm sorry it is the only console I see in our system for that model. You will just have to wait for technician to come and maybe he can order the correct one. Really? Do they have any idea how long we waited for this appointment? So I called Sole direct and told them my situation and could they provide a part number for the correct one. Sure enough, they were professional and spoke english and gave me the correct information. I called Sears back, after being disconnected twice and transferred to some random person mid call, I finally reached someone who ordered us the correct console.
Mind you the entire time, I was calm and patient. So now they had to move the appointment back so that the correct console would have time to arrive. Appointment day finally arrives, I was so thrilled to get this 1800 elliptical fixed finally. The guy seemed to know about as much as I do when it comes to fixing ellipticals. He put the new console on and now it did not work at all! So he put the old one back and tried to calibrate it again. Still didn’t work. He tells me he will need to come back with someone else to take the entire thing apart. We check the schedule, lucky me! he has the next morning open from 8-12! Next morning arrives, no one shows up, no one calls. So I call, I speak to the most frustrating person ever, clearly reading from a script who calls me by the wrong name over and over. Again, I am calm and patient. I ask why he didn’t show, she tells me it is actually scheduled for tomorrow. Ugh.

Adecco Las Vegas

I’ve been in the Las Vegas area looking for work over a year. In that time, I have secured several temporary positions, a few with ADECCO. I know a temp agency is was it is, but they I have recently had a TERRIBLE experience with ADECCO, wich is why I’m here.

Refrigerator Purchash

Recently, I purchased a refrigerator at Sears (an expensive one) Upon delivery, I noticed a “dent” on the side. I called them about it, and was told that “those things happen” and was offered a $25 gift certificate. Not being happy with this response to my new refrigerator with a dent (which if I wanted a damaged appliance, I would have shopped at a Scratch and Dent store,) I called and told them I want a replacement. Well, yesterday, after waiting 2 weeks, I get a call from Sear’s that they will be delivering the refrigerator between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Well, 2 weeks ago it was set up for the fridge to be delivered anytime after 2:30 because I work. After talking to several people, being on hold and really getting nowhere, I was told there was nothing they could do about the delivery time. So, I had to come in to work late and wait for them. I received the replacement fridge and notice a scratch on the front of the door. Now, I am really unhappy. I almost told the delivery guys to take it back and ask for my money back, but I did not want to go through anymore hassles, but I am keeping the fridge. But, I think Sears should reimburse me in someway, say $200 gift certificate) for all my headaches, frustrations, disappointments and missing time off of work. Let’s see if they come through. At this point, I would not recommend anyone buying an appliance from Sears.

Pharmacy that lacks any sort of customer service standard

My wife uses the pharmacy in the target location (7400 South Gartrell Road Aurora CO) First of all the pharmacist is not friendly at all! On my first visit I basically watched her tell another unsatisfied customer “oh well”. Secondly, on two occasions (my only two cause I go to walmart) I was quoted 20 minutes, I returned in 20 minutes and told 20 more and so on and so on until I had waited a hour and a half. This happened again on the second visit. If they had been upfront and just told me “Mr. Browne, it will be an hour and a half” I would have went about my day and came back when it was convenient for me. Walmart calls my phone you know, what a concept! Thirdly, I had a prescription that had two items on it. They only filled one and not the other because the “x” that was on the lower half of the paper overlapped it a bit. It was clearly obvious that the doctor was not crossing out the written script part but the empty space below. Needless to say they refused to fill it. I called my doctors office (since they said they called and faxed) my doctor’s office said there was no fax or evidence that the target pharmacy ever called regarding my prescriptions. All I know is it doesn’t take a hour and a half to print out a label and count 30 pills, its not rocket science, its counting pills!

Discrimination

I had a very bad day at the Burger King, College Mall road, Bloomington, Indiana and feel that employees of this corporation discriminated against me (I am colored Asian). I took my family (wife and two kids) to the outlet for meal today. I placed order on the counter at 7:15 pm. After waiting for 35 minutes I had to inform the lady at the counter that my kids are hungry and its taking too much time. She completed half of my order, apologized for the delay and asked me to wait for the other half. After waiting for another 20 minutes, this time i asked a man who seemed to be in charge of the outlet complaining that I am waiting for 55 minutes for provision of my order. On the face of it he apologized explaining that he has only three people to work with and then started preparing my remaining order but his body language added insult to my injury. He was lying to me because lots of other orders were being delivered in the meanwhile which were placed after mine. My family felt insulted and my wife commented that they might be treated us this way in order to discourage us from visiting this place again. If that was their aim, they are successful because I am not going to visit that place again.

“GREAT PROGRAM” screwing my credit!

This is my next letter to Wells Fargo after two attempts to have them help me. They misinform their customers, do not disclose the ways they are going to crew you and then won’t help you. I had squeaky clean credit before this nightmare. I make all my payments on time and have for over 20+ years. Now, thanks to Wells Fargo and their “WONDERFUL PROGRAMS,” my credit is screwed unless they fix their mistake. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WITH WELLS FARGO…I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE!!!

Comwave RIP-OFF / Scam

Comwave is the biggest scam I could ever imagine
After giving up pestering the telemarketers I received through the mail with the warranty that this product (VOIP) can be used for 90 days free and without any reasons there can be returned if unsatisfied. Along with the device I received a 3 year contract that I supposed to agree. I called customer Comwave’s services and after transferring the calls between numerous useless operators I was advised to return the device to an Comwave warehouse. In this conversation I specifically asked the operator if there is any payments outstanding and he confirmed that only sending the device in return will be everything I need to do.
After almost 6 month I revived a letter from Collection Agency to pay $60.10 or accept consequences. No one could give me any reason why this bill was not issued to me to start with and was sent directly to the collection agency. The amount of $12 that if I knew about I would had paid immediately was transformed into $60.10 due to administration fees and interest.
Costomer services answer about this? Sorry mister.

Burned food and long wait

Morning. Today is the day of the last straw that broke the camel’s back. I am livid, ticked off and downright unhappy because my simple breakfast order of an Egg McMuffin and Medium Dr. Pepper combined with Sarah’s inability to do her job efficiently caused me to be late to work. That is money out of my pocket caused by McDonalds.

WHEN I CAME BACK HOME OPENED THE BAG THERE WERE ONLY LANCETS AND STRIPS AND NO MACHINE, CALLED THEM THEY TOLD ME DOC DID NOT ORDERED ANY METER I CALLED M DOC AND THEN GOT A CALL FROM THIS TECH THAT COME BACK AND PICK UP THE METER WENT BACK AND PICKED IT UP CAME BACK AND STARTED TO CHECK MY SUGAR LEVELS BUT WAIT THE LANCETS WON’T WORK BECAUSE THAT DUMB ASS TECH GAVE ME THE WRONG LANCETS FOR THE METER WENT BACK TO PHARMACY AND THE DUM ASS PHARMACIST TOLD ME THAT HE CAN NOT HELP ME I HAD TO TO YELL AT THEM AND ANOTHER PHARMACIST STEP IN AND ORDERED THE CORRECT LANCETS AND TOLD ME TO PICK IT UP TODAY BUT GUESS WHAT THE STILL DON’T HAVE LANCETS NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE STUPID PHARMACY TECH WONT ACCEPT THAT HE GAVE ME THE WRONG LANCETS AND THE PHARMACIST WHO ORDERED NEW ONE WAS OFF TODAY SO I HAVE TO GO BACK AND FORTH 6 TIMES JUST FOR THE STUPID LANCETS NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE CVS ON SEPULVEDA AND SHERMAN WAY THEIR TECHS ARE RUDE AND DONT KNOW WHAT ARE THEY DOING HALF OF TIMES.

I am writing to file a complaint with regards to your Company’s failure to timely renew my credit card (account # 288 9401 1428 4074) for the last 6 months. The last card expired on October, 2011 and I have only received the new credit card today, May8, 2012. I have gone to the bank personally to request for the card for 3 times and have called the credit department for at least 2 times within the 6 months period and it took 6 months for your Company to deliver the new card to me. Bad customer treatment by a service consultant/sales lady at Heidelberg

I went to a Vodashop in Heidelberg Gauteng at Victorian Shopping Centre to enquire about how to use a Tab as my wife wanted to buy one for as a birthday present. The first Sales Lady was so helpful to the extent that I immediately called my wife to indeed buy me one. We made an arrangement with the Lady that my wife was going to visit the shop on monday, 23/04/2012 as it was my birthday, to buy it for me. Unfortunately that is when my troubles started as when my wife went to buy it she found this incosiderate sales lady by the name of Lynette. She sold the vodafone tab to my wife and did not give her the free sim card. I could not use the tab from Monday up to Friday as I went to request the sim card. I asked why she did not give the sim card and she said that my wife did not request it. I registered the sim unfortunately she did not advice me to buy data bundles. I was only advice at a Voda Shop in Riversquare Mall in Vereeniging. When I went for the sim I also wanted to buy a screen protector for the tab and a pouch/bag. They were out of stock and she took my cell number promising to call me when the items arrived at the shop. Guess, she never bothered to call me when the screen protectores arrived.

Really bad trip!

Last year you guys gave me the worst flight experience of my life. I have never been a frequent fly-er, still that could change in the near future.
First because of a climbing accident of over 100 feet in my early twenties, I requested a wheel chair or a cart. I was coming in from my home in Bolivia on my way to Oklahoma. First you had no chair for me in Miami. Yes I can walk. I did! Finally I am on the next plane headed for Dallas with my last connection to Oklahoma City. We sat out there for well over an hour waiting on flight attendants. Even the Pilot gave us a name. He said we are very embarrassed and you the people on the flight should complain. Up until this point I have always been an AA fan. So now with my 93 year old father waiting I get to Dallas. My Oklahoma City flight has already left and there is know way for me to get to Oklahoma City that night. First your people offered me a Ramada Inn room a little distance from the airport. In the end you put me in one of the airport Hyatt’s I believe it was. I had a few hours to rest which was impossible as I was so upset. So finally the next morning after a few hours in the Hotel I am finally on a plane to Oklahoma. I can hardly walk. I am in an enormous amount of pain from the Miami situation. A couple of days mostly in bed on the ranch and I finish a lot better.
Ok folks. Now, I am on my way back. I have almost gotten to the point of all is forgiven. I get to the airport in Oklahoma City and speak with the AA folks in the terminal. I tell them a little bit about the escapade on the way in. The AA rep. says would you like a wheel chair in Dallas. I said no I will probable be alright. The young lady says well why don’t we have one available for you and you may use it if you want. So I get to the Dallas-Fort Worth airport and decided what the heck let’s go ahead and use the chair. So the young lady guiding my cheer starts to follow another young lady guiding an older gentleman’s chair. I thought nothing of it until we ended up in the baggage claim area. I still didn’t get to upset thinking surely you guys new what you were doing. In the end we finally end up to my gate to Miami. The gate had just been closed and I could not convince the AA people to open it up and let me on the plane. So you folks informed me you would have to put me on the next plane to Miami. It looked very bad for me as far as making my plane to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. In Dallas the new I was so upset that your people tried to convince me that the plane was probable going to be running late and I would probable make it. Well of course I did not make that connection. In the end with my restless wife waiting for me to get home to Bolivia the best you could do is put me up in a nice hotel and get me on a flight the next night. So you give me a bunch of vouchers and send me off to catch an airport shuttle in the middle of the night. I know I had shown some anger. I would hate to think you did this on purpose but I spent like an hour and a half outside the terminal waiting on this Hotel’s shuttle. I was talking to my wife by phone the whole time. You know I didn’t know it but Miami International can get real quiet at certain hours. Finally a shuttle from Motel Six stopped and told me “Sir, I have passed by here and seen you standing here three or for times. Is there something I can do for you. He drove me to the Hotel. I gave him a good tip and promised not to mention his name. What a nightmare. Of course the reason I was returning on the said date was I needed to meet a man over business the morning that I was not to arrive. Of course in the hotel I was treated very well. I will give you that. Still, that is not much of a bonus. The next evening I got the flight out and of course it ended up arriving very late to Santa Cruz with my emotional wife waiting.
I have several friends, One of them a very good friend that are AA pilots. They told me from the start that I should complain. I swore I would never fly AA through Miami again. Now, I have an emergency situation. My health is very bad right now and I need to fly to Oklahoma and maybe Houston with my wife following me in a couple of days as she needs to leave everything in order here. I am in need of a cornea transplant. I am having cardiovascular problems and they can not figure out why here. I may need for us to fly AA all the way to OKC. This an emergency situation.
